This is when we borrow pop's pick-up truck, drive around our neighborhood and retrieve all of our neighbors' "yard waste." We then take this material (leaves, trimmings, sticks, etc) and use it to mulch our garden beds or put it directly in the compost bin. So there it is: we take this "waste," and convert it into beautiful gardens and yummy food. Permaculture at it's finest.
