Welcome to our House Remodel Project

We're remodeling our house. It all started with "Let's get new windows!" and it progressed to us completely gutting everything. We lived in the basement for over a year, and now we have moved everything upstairs except for the kitchen. We're chipping away at it. We can say unequivocally that our house is WAY more comfortable: cooler in the summer (with no a/c installed yet) and warmer in the winter, and our gas bills are about a third of what they were. We also love how the house is taking shape. So far, so good...
